Come Hunt With Us

We want to provide you with a extraordinary hunting experience at Cedar Hill Outfitters located in the deep South. With over 2700 acres of prime hunting land, we offer an excellent opportunity for killing large trophy bucks and a magnificent time in the outdoors. We specialize in deer, quail, and dove hunting.

Owned and operated by Carl Johnson, Cedar Hill Outfitters is located in the Blackhawk community in the western part of Central Mississippi. Near Highway 17, Cedar Hill Outfitters is easy to find from Lexington, North Carrollton, or Vaiden. We can get you here from what ever direction you are traveling from to hunt (see driving directions).

Here at Cedar Hill Outfitters, we know there is more than one kind of hunter. Whether you are hunting for the buck of a lifetime or for junior's first, we'll make sure you have a good time and memories that will last a lifetime. Spend the day by one of our ten different ponds reeling in bass, crappie, or brim or just let the time pass as the ripples lap the shore and the fresh breeze blows on your face. What ever your reason, be it a trophy hunt, a family excursion, business meeting or just for relaxation, let Cedar Hill Outfitters provide you with what your looking for as entertainment.

We have a 3500 square-foot lodge that was completed Fall of 2001. The lodge has 4 bedrooms (each with its own bathroom with sink and shower, window, and climate controls), a Great Hall with a superb view over the lake, an oversized kitchen with bar, and a multi-purpose loft with beds, futon, and TV/VCR. A large covered porch surrounds over half the perimeter of the lodge, great for socializing and relaxing. The lodge can comfortably sleep 15 people.  Lodge amenities include gas-logs, two TVs, two VCRs, satellite, VHS video library (100+ movies), stereo system, fishing reels, grill house with gas and charcoal grills, dartboard, laundry room with washer/dryer, full-size refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, oven and top range, coffee maker, and covered four-wheeler parking.

Cedar Hill Outfitters is loaded with miles of four-wheeler trails through rolling hills, across creeks, and by beautiful ponds.  Our trails are perfect for those who love to ride and explore, so strap down your cooler and prepare for the ultimate riding experience. Don't forget to bring a compass.
